  1. Daniel clearly in favour of Nihal… πŸ˜…

  2. The SCC should take place at primetime on a twice per week basis. Trying to keep up with all of these must-sees is impossible

  3. I was with nihal but I am not sad at all. He had lost to very formidable opponent who played really special chess today. Nihal's play was excellent but MVL's play was out of the world. Congratulations MVL. hope you win scc πŸŽ‰.

  4. So far the veterans have outplayed the young ones.

  5. I'm not a hater to Nihal, I just love to see him lose. I mean he is old enough. He needs to retire though.

  6. This may sound a bit bold but I think MVL is the most creative middle game player among the world elite

  7. I'm a big fan of Nihal and my spidey senses were immediately tinging. Something didn't feel right here. Nihal looked exhausted and pissed that he had to play from the moment he came on camera. And he was visibly yawning for the first couple games. Honestly this whole tournament feels rigged and I'm probably not going to bother watching another one. Why is HIkaru even allowed to put on headphones after he starts making bad moves? what a joke. I think I remember last year the bracket matchups suddenly changing too. I bet the organizers took advantage of the kid and he was annoyed about playing at such a late hour for him. He had an expression like he wanted to back out of the tournament before the match began. I was rooting for Nihal but literally after the 3rd game I stopped watching already knowing what the outcome would be.

  8. MVL still strong at speed chess despite not appearing as much lately

  9. Overall mvl was better and very sharp , but i think nihal would have given a better fight if he did not have to play at 3 AM. This somehow felt unfair for him.

  10. Nihal's a Cool Dude…πŸ‘πŸ˜ŽβœŒοΈ

  11. Never seen nihal losing such a margin… may be he worried internet 😒

  12. Can someone tell Ben how to stream with a bg replace plugin? That green screen is distracting actually

  13. The games of this match were far above all the rest in the SCC so far in quality and accuracy — not to mention time management (for the most part).
