Rapport had won this game after the exchange of queens. Later and just before advancing the passed pawn to c3 he had to play Qd6+ to control the g8 square, in addition to avoiding moves like Qf7 or Qd7 that threaten mate on b7. After Qd6+ Carlsen would play Kh7 supporting the promotion of the pawn a promotion that would only lead to complete piece exchanges allowing the black pawn on the c-file to promote. But that's the Blitz and anything can happen when there is not enough time to calculate.
