  1. This match has more flags than I expected

  2. If you really don't want to say soccer, then you can say "association football" as opposed to "gridiron football."

  3. Notice how many positive comments there are about the commentary for this match. Substantive analysis is much more enjoyable than shout casting

  4. i don't need to watch it to know Ding wins

  5. They pretending Grischuk isn’t Russian shameful

  6. Talk about lack of energy by the commentators. Have they looked at Danya and Hess?

  7. Energy in this commentary team is insane.

  8. I loved the commentary! The recent trend has all these “high energy” commentators rambling bunch of nonsense most of the time, and they are getting quite obnoxious. It’s very refreshing to see more laid back, chill narrators giving insightful and clear commentary on the games.

  9. nahh commentary is boring, love jeffery as a chess player though

  10. I actually like these commentators, sounding like normal dudes who understand and explain chess in a more laid back approach – that is actually easier to understand. I like that they are not trying to sound like soccer commentators, screaming square names on a rate of 1 per second, as if even 1% of the people following the stream could so quickly follow the tactics and moves they are envisioning.

  11. I like this commentary so much. Great job guys.

  12. Please have more of this kind of commentatory, I just want to enjoy chess, I don't need high energy, I don't need you to hype up the game for me, I already love chess. Just explain the moves we noobs could not see at a pace that is friendly to 90% of people.

  13. Congrats Ding for advancing.

If I spoiled for you then F you.

  14. Must-Not-See TV: Xiong obviously cannot speak English. Every affirmation out of his mouth sounds like a question? The other fellow's no Churchill, either.

    Congratulations on making Ding-Grischuk boring.

  15. great job the commentators. I really enjoyed this.

  16. Finally a commentary with normal dudes taking time to understand

Instead of 2 top rated GMs mumbling about some lines normal viewers have no idea

  17. IM Pruess had a lot more fluid and logical ideas, GM Jeff always felt inferior and offered a worse counter idea out of ego… work together,

  18. I wish Ding will be the next world champion

  19. Grischuk cracks me up. He plays like there's no clocks, and then acts shocked when he loses on time. I think he goes haywire when he's actually up on the clock

  20. I think you guys talk too much. I also don’t like how you make the screen smaller because you have to have your face in there. Which is completely not necessary. In addition, moving the board around the way that you do, very irritating. This is not about how smart you are. This is about watching them play. Keep the board as it is in regards to their play. You start moving stuff around; they can do this they, can do that etc. It all gets very discombobulated. Don’t change the moves in the middle of the game. Let us see what the board looks like only. Use your words because you use a lot of anyway, to tell us what you believe that they might do. smh.

  21. Guys lets be honest, SCC without Robert and Danya is sooo boring
