  1. Pruess, stop interrupting Jeffrey when he's speaking. You're only a weak IM, don't interrupt the super GM

  2. give us anyone but pruess, please.. he's not meant for this job. i'd rather listen to lawrence trent than him – which is saying a lot, given that i also dislike him in every possible manner..

  3. Damn Ding is so good. You know a queen sack is insane when it takes a 2700 rated player like Jeffrey time to understand even after the initating move!

  4. I'm not a fan of single elimination — too much comes down to brackets. If you lose to the eventual winner in the 1st round you could well have been the 2nd best. The RCC double elimination format was better. Make the matches shorter if that's an issue.

  5. Why does this Pruess guy use "they" instead of "he"? He knows that the players are both men.

  6. Grishuk is not THEY! Please stop this stupid way of calling individual players THEY!!!!!

  7. Here we go! I’m planning to watch the entire tournament. Also fun to see who the organizers get to call the matches, and who takes on the role of “technical” & who takes the “color” commentary. Who will be the Joe Rogan of calling Chess? Levy & Danya did great @CGC.

  8. It's nice to see Ding Liren doing well, but it doesn't matter since Hikaru is going to win the whole tournament… Mark my words

  9. The whole bit with Magnus' hair and Kasparov coming in to mow the lawn/big hair down was hilarious! Thank you for that.

  10. ‘Might have run’. ‘I ran’. ‘I have run’.

  11. No need to keep the cursor on the board all the time. Park it somewhere else 🙂
