  1. e5 is the 1800 level mistake after which black gets a difficult position; still Anand should have played Be6 far sooner.  His level has dropped so significantly in the last couple of years.  He was really lucky to beat Gelfand and keep his championship title last year.  How much money does he have?  Should he retire then?

  2. Ха-ха я круче Карлсена!    7м.31сек –       Ке8+! Крg8.  Фh8+!! Крh8.  Л:f8x!

  3. Блин,он на следующем ходу увидел

  4. What an elegant way to mate Anand, offering the queen…!

  5. Any piece Anand move were to be checkmate.

  6. A great video ruined by us not being able to see the clock times.  When it's blitz chess, just film the CLOCK for goodness sake!

  7. Anand should not retire. Truly, still, a top 10 player. However, Carlsen is showing very early that he will likely be the greatest champion ever. He is simply wiping the floor with other players.

  8. do you also have the other blitz games or do you know where to find them (live stream I mean)?

  9. Is the commentator wrong when he says Qe6 mate? If black king to g8, then instead of Qe6 (which is not mate), the move is Qh8+. After King takes Queen (forced), then Rook f8++!

  10. Is it just me or did Anand seem nervous at the beginning of the game?

  11. i think the game is wrong at the end and please correct me if i am wrong  at 7:46
when discover check from queen anand should have played night takes queen and i wouldn t be mate

  12. HORRIBLE commentary!! Seirawan is a legend of entairtainment and enjoyable smooth talks that ALL should learn from, be it players, commentators or even off topics, in general social skill!!

  13. Anand still have the chance to survive…I think you just resigned out of fatigue

  14. Any try to defend check, will be checkmate in a few moves.

  15. 3 moves and checkmate
    Knight(Check) e8 : King g8
    Queen(Check) e6 : King h8
Rook takes Bishop i.e. f8 (Checkmate)

  16. Terrific attack. Looks so easy when Carlsen does it.
Interestingly Carlsen missed the mate in 4 on 7:15
    1.Ne8+,Qf6 2.QxQ+,Kg8 3.Qh8+,KxQ 4.RxB#
but they both saw it one move later.

  17. if NxQe5 then RxBf8 mate.. if Kg8 then Qxe6 check then Kh8 then RxBf8 mate..

  18. Only idiots will think that Carlsen doesn't prepare his games ! This was clearly a a home prepared game from Carlsen.

  19. How did he lose at the end?Can someone please explain

  20. carlsen is young and is full of energy and anand is well experienced. Both are good players

  21. how about playing ….a9…..????   they shud hav …..

  22. why is carlsen wearing that horrendous shirt full of sponsors? Can't he dress normally like all the other players or is the money too attractive?

  23. If kngiht took queen in the final check, rook comes up and delivers mate 🙂

  24. my best player magnus carlsen beat anand like a child

  25. More atractive is 08.52 after 1….Kh8 white play 2. Ne8+ Kg8 3. Qh8+ Kh8. 4. Rf8# 🙂
