What happens when one of the best blitz players in the world of chess takes on a prodigious young talent. Hikaru Nakamura took on Praggnanandhaa in the final round of the Tata Steel Chess India Blitz 2018. It was a very important final round because if Nakamura won the game, he would win the title. But in case of a draw, it would result in a tiebreak match between Nakamura and Vishy Anand. Check out the game to see if Praggnanandhaa managed to hold the blitz monster Hikaru Nakamura.

Even the mighty Hikaru is left shocked. What a defence by praggnanandhaa
What a game
Praggi is a champion
Is a stallo
This commentary is next level. Clear, concise, and keeps the tension and weight of each move at the forefront of the conversation. As an intermediate chess player this is a blessing.
Absolutely amazing round congrats to both
Voy por Praggnanandhaa
Whoa! What a game! The all game is amazing
2022 game brought me here, Pragg is wonderfully composed

Great video! Keep it up
Rameshbabu is a beast. Always full of resources
16.06 why hikaru not taking pawn by king, then got two pawn to move on.. 🤔
Seharusnya menang putih apabila raja putih makan pion hitam yg satunya. Nantinya menang tempo
Wow what a wonderful end
Probably a newbie question, would pragg doing Knight G6 at 15:42 a better move than King G6 since it forks the white pawns?
What a trap execution by Pragg with his knight. Talk about moving around your pieces until someone goes blunder. HK fought well to get inside Praggs kingdom… only to be met with swift and smooth support and resistance.
when hikaru was trying to move his piece i thought he resigned lol 🙂
Helal lan Yusufi

I want to see the commentator himself play whilst commentating
No one seems to mention that white's pawn could have played en passant to F6
