Blitz Chess Tournament #7 (3|0)

This is a 55-minute tournament I competed in on lichess, namely the Pollock Tournament. This tournament was played while broadcasting at . Time controls are set at 3 minutes per player.

I’m a self-taught National Master in chess out of Pennsylvania, USA who was introduced to the game by my father in 1988 at the age of 8. The purpose of this channel is to share my knowledge of chess to help others improve their game. I enjoy continuing to improve my understanding of this great game, albeit slowly. 7. Jerry, you're very good at it !! Thank you for all your videos

  8. Why do you always say, "they're down on time" instead of, "he's down on time"?

  9. Can you suggest some good books for understanding chess and the way of thinking during game ?

  10. Hey Jerry can you do a long post on minority attack if you dont mind?

  11. Bobbyfischer with that Nona Fry! Hahahahaha!

  12. You play so bad even a 1500 can beat you

  13. Jerry, you really should berserk if you loose your first game und just play under 1600 raters in the following games. Most of the time you still had more than 1:30 on the clock. I know its a liitle bit too greedy to ask, because we are all here for some good chess in the first place, but i think i am not the only one who is here for the glorious feeling of first place confetti in your hand aswell.
PS: Saw one of your videos 2 years ago for the first time, because i couldnΒ΄t sleep. Still can not sleep because im too busy rewatching all of your videos over and over again.
    Thank you very much

  14. If you want to win more tournaments it might be a good idea to gear towards a faster time strategy.
Just my two cents, overall these things are addictive nonetheless and have taught me so much.
    3-0 blitz is my favorite.

  15. The queen is mated in the last game against zambatoπŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  16. How come at 9:30 you didn't do kxc2+ and take his rook on the next move with the other knight? Also at 9:50 why didn't you at least THEN do ke3x to kc2?

  17. Not even "ugly", Jerry: To me, at any rate (try c. 1700), you have superb technique & endgame skills. I've watched you win on time again & again. That in itself, is a kind of beauty, especially against a masterful player.

  18. Jerry's voice is hypnotic..lol
    Great videos man
